An Interest Based Approach

We Take An Interest Based Approach and structure our learning so your child is engaged and interested in play situations. We do this with a combination of indoor and outdoor activities that help the young learner develop in a safe and caring environment – individually and in groups.

Early Years Learning Framework

Elderslie ELC is guided by a national framework based on the individual child and family. We have 5 learning outcomes:

Identity

A robust sense of identity

Wellbeing

A strong sense of wellbeing

Connect & Contribute

A connection with the world and the ability to contribute

Confidence

A confident and involved learner

Communication

An effective communicator

Weaving these outcomes through our learning framework provides a holistic and well-rounded experience for the early stages of your child’s development. Each child is different and we believe it is important to provide guidance and assistance that allows your child to develop in their own natural way.

Storypark is a system used by many of Australia’s leading childcare centres. Our centre benefits by having high-level training and assistance on hand with a large community of professional early learning educators. It provides unprecedented personalised learning with parents able to receive constant feedback on their child’s progress.

A recent survey found that 70% of parents were more likely to send their child to a centre that used Storypark. 96% of educators think Storypark has improved day-to-day practice and 97% of parents believe it has enabled them to become more involved in their child’s learning.

What we love it?

Storypark lets educators communicate learning as it happens through many mediums. Parents and caregivers can see how their child is progressing, what kind of learning interests them and where they may need more help. It’s a system that connects children, facilitators and families like never before.
